Tags

Tags help you organize your video collection. They help you find your favorite videos quickly and easily.

Creating a new tag

There are multiple ways to create a tag:

Option 1

1. Goto settings ( Cmd+,) and then tags to playlists tab.
2. Locate the "Add new tag" button on the bottom of the section.
3. Click to open a modal. And then type the tag name and hit "Add tag" button.
4. Now, you will see your tag in the list.

Option 2

1. Select any video in all collection(Cmd+Shift+C) window.
2. On the video details panel, click on "Manage tags".
3. Now, you can add a new tag and the video will be part of that tag.

Deleting a tag

To delete a tag, follow these steps:

1. Goto settings (Cmd+,) and then navigate to tags tab.
2. Select the tags you want to delete. You can make use of starting letter based filter, search input to narrow down the tag name.
3. Hover on the tag item and click on the "Delete" button on the right side of tag item.
4. Confirm the deletion by clicking on the "Delete" button in the confirmation modal.

Adding a video to tag

1. Select any video in all tag(Cmd+Shift+C) window.
2. Select the video from the collection.
3. On the video details panel, click on manage playlist or press (Cmd+P)
4. Now, you can add a new playlist by
   1. Clicking on the tag names that are last used.
   2. Or type on the in putbox, select matching tags
   3. If you entered a name which is unique, you can create a new tag and let the video be part of that tag.
   Or click one from the last used tags(this option appears if you have created/ added any tag previously) and the video will be part of that tag.

Removing videos from tag

If you are in all collection view:

1. Select any video in all collection(Cmd+Shift+C) window.
2. On the video details panel, click on "Manage tags".
3. Now, you can remove the video from the playlist by selecting the playlists right below the video name.
4. When you click on the playlist name, there would a cross icon, click on that to remove the video from that playlist.
